In this workshop, we begin with the idea of the Proustian madeleine — how a simple smell can bring back a vivid memory — before gently tuning the nose through a series of sensory exercises using a curated selection of aroma vials With some senses activated, others reduced, you’ll learn how the nose perceives and interprets aromas in a more focused way.
We then explore the aromatic universe of wine: the typical flavours of key grape varieties, the influence of regions, and the main faults to recognise. Finally, you’ll taste a selection of wines using a clear, simple toolbox that helps reveal the winemaker’s signature behind each glass.
